Let’s just go with okay.
Who’s ready for summer!? Who’s ready for seclusion and narrow-minded progress!? YEAH!
And the creative…and the insane.. and a wonderful little mix of all three.
Always thinking, always wondering, always hoping.
GPOY.
The warm company of the sun a child see’s
Blazing hot summer suns the child believes
Cool waters in the lakes a child see’s
Forever bliss a child believes
To the largest hills a child move’s
For the longing of his friends is a child behooved
Along stony walls a child move’s
Where greetings of hope is a child behooved
Rolling in the jagged blades of grass
A child is amused
Laying in the clouds of dirt
A child is soothed
Without the stick or stone
A child is home
Nor in the trenches or storms
A child is solemn
Where the flower would bud anew
There the child will surely go
Amongst the prairies sprouting golden hues
There the child will surely know
Near the brook that sings of kindred news
Here the child shall glow
To the ocean’s flair and the world’s awing glare
Here the child will dare
Here the child is without care
Alas, the child will have fared
Beyond the desires of men who desire
Wings for stairs beyond theirs
and life to everything
